A dataset of 1,553 nucleotide-, 596 heme-, and 69 steroid-binding pockets compiled to evaluate the performance of algorithms to classify ligand binding sites in proteins. The dataset comprises proteins unrelated by sequence and fold, yet binding the same ligand (either nucleotide or heme).
